Does the job - worth the priceAugust 30, 2010 Tammy Matthews(Kansas City, MO United States) I bought this saw to trim a tree in the front yard of my rental house. The renters were complaining that the branches were hanging too low and scraping the top of their SUV. This saw was easy to put together and easy enough to use. Don't expect a professional looking job though. It was hard to get a clean cut on every branch, especially the smaller ones. Ideal for cutting branches a inch to two inches thick, which is really all I needed it for. Overall, great tool, that did a great job.
Use this to stay off ladders.August 23, 2010 R. A. Stine(San Mateo, CA) We have a very large Oak tree growing next to the house and I needed to trim high branches that were too close to the house, creating a fire hazard. This tool worked perfectly, allowing me to safetly cut the branches from the deck instead of trying to work from a ladder with a chain saw.
I highly recommend purchasing an extra battery; working on large branches dishcarges the battery pretty quickly. Using two batteries, I was able to do everything I wanted to in about 1 1/2 hours.
